So climbing with various people has taught me some random and amusing traditions. This will be an ongoing page as more things are taught to me.

#1: Rope Catching

You're pulling the rope after rapping, as it gathers speed you yell 'rope!'. As the tail end comes whipping down you reach out and grab for it. Why risk a welt across your arm? Cause there is a prize of course!

What's the prize? Well it depends on your agility and timing. If you catch it in the first foot it's beer worthy. The second foot is pop worthy if you can find someone who agrees. More than that and you might get a water if you ask nicely.
